Coming Home

I found this cute little canvas and easel on a greeting card that I bought just for the canvas. I used to have a dog and he would faithly be waiting for my arrival at home, I miss him and lately I wish for another dog. In the mean time these little two will have to do besides no need to ever walk them, feed them or clean up after them! The chair and pillows is also my creation. Shoddy I know lol.

Conversations

I just happened to stumble upon the conversation of Madame X and her guests discussing life in Paris. So jealous. I want to go to Paris!

If These Walls Could Talk

I found these pictures on a German art & fashion blog (sorry I lost sight of the blog so I can't give credit!), and of course my eyes saw the most perfect miniature room. Do you see it too?

Most importantly I would love for the walls of my dollhouse to look like this. I guess you'd call this shabby chic?

Honestly I wouldn't know where to begin? Perhaps some expert reader of mine could share some advice on how to accomplish this effect for the walls of my very naked dollhouse???

I bought come acrylic craft paint, can I use that to paint the walls??? I really don't want to go the wallpaper route.

Ok it's almost 5 a.m. gotta be up in two hours to get Jake off to school, at this point I might as well stay and keep working on stuff, I can sleep in the afterlife!

Wishing you a happy Thursday!

Another Dollhouse For The Collection

The Parlor

Close-up of the exquisite piano

My charcoal and watercolor on paper nude in the bath

The kitchen

Dressing table in the bedroom. I didn't get any good full shots of the bedroom so I will post those pics another time.

A portion of the yard

All this for $70 bucks. What a great find! The only thing I don't like is that everything is glued into place and therefore doesn't allow for the re-arranging of the rooms. All the rooms are electrified too.
