Because I am having a hard time believing I spend $25 on these items. I guess money doesn't stretch as it used to, considering everything at Michael's seemed to be $4.99. I got foam board (I'm making beds!), white and black flat spray paint, adhesive spray, a thin piece of wood to finish the bottom of the couch I'm still working on and this cute pendant thing that I will hang in 'Mr. Kinsky's bedroom' as a picture.
Here's the finished plant I made from a kit I bought a long time ago. Not too bad but I can't help think it needs something like varnish or something.
Ok I gotta get to work as there is lots to do :) The in-laws are flying in today. Should be fun.

I know what you mean about your $ seeming not to stretch too far - but when you look at what you've made with it all I'm sure it'll seem like a very good investment :)
